MIL-DTL-17060G(SH)
3.6.15 Partial discharge inception voltage and rise time (for variable speed drive motors). Partial discharge
inception voltage (see 6.6.15) shall be greater than 3000 volts when tested in accordance with 4.6.22.
3.6.16 Electromagnetic interference requirements (for variable speed drive motors). Motor shall pass test
RE102 in MIL-STD-461 (see 4.6.23). The purpose of this test is to ensure the motor terminal box is properly sealed
to meet EMI requirements (see 6.6.6)
3.6.17 Electromagnetic interference requirements for motors with thermal protection systems. Motors with
thermal protection systems shall operate successfully, without false tripping in the electromagnetic environment
identified in MIL-STD-461 (see 4.6.24).
